EVA Foam Helmet

This helmet was designed and built to scale in the span of 6 days.

The initial template sketches were done on paper. This was followed by tracing these templates onto sheets of EVA foam of varying thickness. These pieces were then cut, and then dremelled and assembled using contact cement.

The foam assembly sealed with Kwik-Seal, sanded to smoothen and then primed with Plasti-Dip. It was then painted multiple coats of silver, and then multiple coats of black after masking.

The visor was made of multiple photography purpose color gels combined to give it an opaque shimmer.
